Michigan iGaming Revenue Rises 28% in June 2026

The Michigan Gaming Control Board released June 2026 financial data for the state’s digital gambling sector. Online casino revenue increased by 28% compared to the same month last year, while sports betting receipts fell by 33.9%.

Monthly Receipts and Wagering Volume

Adjusted gross receipts for online casino games reached $289.2m, marking a 1.5% decrease from May. Sports betting adjusted gross receipts totaled $20.2m, reflecting a 13.4% monthly decline. Combined adjusted gross receipts for both verticals summed to $309.4m for the period. Gross receipts before adjustments stood at $341.3m, comprising $301.2m from online casino operations and $40.1m from sports wagering. The total handle for online sports betting reached $366.1m, representing a 20% year-over-year reduction.

Tax Collections and Regulatory Reporting

Tax and fee collections from iGaming operators amounted to $60.8m. Online sports betting generated $1.5m in taxes and fees. The regulatory body published these digital gambling metrics following the release of June revenue figures for Detroit’s three land-based casinos.
